Just wondering what numbers will Brad Symes and Moran pick up next season? Hudson's 13, Perrie's 22, Bode's 10, Torney's 15, Hinge's 38, Mattner's 39.... will Ricciuto's jumper go into retierment for a couple of seasons? or will it be used next season?

Get Griff to move and give Taylor #6 ;) :D

I know the number is still warm and he has only just retired but I suggest we give Roo’s number 32 to Taylor Walker. Let’s continue to build the tradition and pass that number on right away.

I have faith that Walker is going to be a genuine stud and do the number proud. I know some will say, don’t give the lad any more added pressure but as the saying goes pressure builds diamonds and we need to turn a few of theses stones into shinny diamonds.

I'm sure roo will choose who is next to wear 32... give walker 52 have not seen it in ages..

I heard a rumour a few weeks ago that 32 was going to a player that was on the list the season just gone.

Keeping in mind it's only a rumour. They might still retire it..... I dunno.

I'd give Taylor #19 in memory of another fantastic team man and a very good player who gave his all for this club. The great man in question is Mark Stevens :thumbsu:

As for the #32, retire it for a while and once you dust it off, its only to be worn by the captains of the club!

I like that idea, other captains wear 1, but we cant have a tradition that our captains wear 32

Roo has already said that no one will get his jumper next season. He said maybe down the road when a new club champion emerges he might hand it down. :thumbsu:

It’s a bloody good idea but unfortunately the ponces down the road already use it and we don’t want to copy any of their ideas.

So no bloody way

They're not the only ones. Richmond do it with Dyer's 17. Not sure if they're the only others that do it.

You read my mind Stiff, was flicking through the first page thinking give the 19 to Walker future forward and if he is anywhere near as good as Stevo he will go alright! :thumbsu:

Christ, people talking about giving the 32 to Walker? Calm down.

The kids got talent no doubt, but hes still largely an unproven commodity because of the comp hes playing in. Theres no way he needs that sort of pressure on him.

Supporters need hope. But it will be interesting to see if the mob turns on him like they did with Sellar, when their Hindenburg sized expectations of him don't materialize. I hope he ends up at the Rosters, Jars will look after him and teach him right.
