You get 82 games in a season to click.I'll go with the terms unsettled and jumbled, they just need it all too click really.
Go for the Charlotte Hornets! New name and a high draft pick this year.

All your old school op-shop bought gear is back in vogue and voila!
And you only have to wait a year until the NBA hands you Wiggins.

Hey after Charlotte's luck with the lottery the last few season's it'd be about damn time![]()
After getting seriously into the NBA for the last 2 and a half years think it's about time I chose a team.
Want a young up coming team that's not too bandwagonish and won't be dominant right away but you can watch them grow.
Cavs - Iriving obviously. Lots of good young prospects. Maybe a couple years off contending. If LeBron goes back in 2014 they will be a bandwagon team again though.
T'Wolves - Haven't made playoffs for 9 years so would fit in well next to my first love Richmond. Love, Rubio, building a nice roster. Playoff bound soon.
Utah - Will suck for awhile but how can you not like Kanter, Favors as a core and Burke will be interesting. Relatable to your everyday caucasian male although may look elsewhere if I want an athletic team.
Pelicans/magic maybe.
Originally also liked Denver because of their uptempo style and I love Faried but Iggy gone, Gallo ACL they look to be going down not up. Also Houston but couldn't support that tool Dwight so that rules them out. Golden State almost seems to have a pre-emptive bandwagon among Aussie fans. Golden State fans are suddenly popping up everywhere! They were originally my first choice now in leaning to the Cavs, Minny or Utah.

Anyone done a similiar switch a perennial championship threat to a perenial struggler?

My opinion is if a team doesnt drag you, just be neutral.
I started off a mild casual Hornets fan in the mid 90s when Glen Rice was gunning.
But when I saw Nash and Dirk play, I just fell in love.
