Carl hooper has been named captin of the windies. Can you believe it. This a player who has not played for years.

play on - has Hooper been playing grade cricket for a South Australian or Victorian side this summer? I don't think he's been playing in their Red Stripe (sp?) league for a few years

He has been playing for Guyana so far this year. That information is on the west indies cricket board. I think he played for a Victorian side but i can't remember which side it was.

I think he played for Carlton one year. But it shows how much trouble they are in making him the captain at this time.

I thought Adams was very hard done by. It wouldnt have mattered who captained the WI in there Aussie Tour. They were always going to lose 5 - 0. And they backed up well in the One Day tournament and made the final. So i thought he did well.

Adams had to be sacked as captain, as his batting form doesn't warrant a place in the team.
