Next 2 weeks will tell

The next 2 weeks will tell Geelong at geelong with their backs to the wall and Richmond at the dome.No wild predictions from me as while they are both winable they are 2 games where we can get thumped in so with all but one [Johncock] to pick from how 2005 will unfold will be known in a fortnight.

I expect us to win one of these games, and won't be overly surprised if we win both.

I'd prefer it to be Richmond then Geelong. We have a better chance of beating Richmond but seeing as it will be our 2nd week on the road, our chances will diminish a bit. Plus our last 11 or so games at the Dome have been WLWL etc so we're up for a loss this time round.

The next 2 weeks will be very interesting to see where we are at. Win 1 and we will hold our spot. Win 2 and we will consolidate top 4, pushing top 2. Lose 2 and we're back with the 6-10 pack.

As great as 7-4 is, there is a real chance to be 7-6 in two weeks time undoing much of what we have achieved over the past three weeks. We must win one of these next two games if we are going to be a serious finals contender. After two straight losses I think Geelong will be out for blood and I think we will go down by around the 25 point mark. Richmond is a game that we must win at all costs as two losses and it puts our season in jeopardy at 7-6 meaning we would have to win 6 out of 10 games to be assured a decent finish in the eight. Considering that we have 6 AAMI games and one against Port with our form at home this year I would realistically say that we will win about 4 (hopefully 5) of those 6 games and will have to rely of pinching one or two more away games to slip into the eight.

Not an easy task by a long shot, hence why at least one win in the next two games is abolutely vital
