My only caveat is how fast Omeara recovers.
I don’t want to see him in purple again; that’s Justin’s Achilles heel, his favourites.

We look so much faster when moving the ball out of congestion with our current setup. Jackson is the perfect big body to have in there. So clean, causes height mismatches, has great hands, a nice kick and is fast.

Disparaging superstition is extremely bad juju. 😝

I was a bit nervous after the weekend, so I'm with you, and back on board freo84

With a historically transformative and galvanising phase for the club we will win all 5 of the next matches! 💜
But Gimmee...at least half the board says we gotta play other way!
What am I sposed to do now?
Signed

The biggest factor between success and falling short will come down to selection integrity.

I still am in awe of Chapman as the sub against Geelong . Talk about self sabotage.
The fact is no player from the last three games should be making way for Jaeger.

I have deleted that game from my memory...other than Murphy Reid's 4 goals ;)

I don’t like this talk of us being good again and the expectations that it brings
Freaks me the **** out when I hear the media talking about us and finals in the same sentence, just don’t feel right .

I’ll stay pessimistic with an open mind to be pleasantly surprised should it come to pass thanks very much .

One thing I’m optimistic of though is that we will beat Carlton this year ( pending injuries)
When our pressure game is on it sh*ts on theirs

Jordan Peterson isn't an idiot. What a strange thing to say.
If your worldview differs from someone on a few topics they're an idiot, or more likely a Nazi/Communist.

Welcome to the Culture Wars! JP goes alright. Very good in his field (psychology) tho his politics are hit or miss.

On topic, I am becoming increasingly (probably irrationally) worried about North. If we get through that one I am confident we'll win the rest. Essendon have the same 5-day break we do and we'll be out for blood against the Swans and Aints.

North should be fine.

St Kilda, Sydney and Hawks worry me a lot more. It would be massive step forward for this team, if we win all 5.

Sydney will just start getting a few back, the same with the Hawks, plus Mitchell will try to kick through us. We will need to be on our game.

When is "selection integrity" decided? A lot of people were getting ready to blame selection if we lost to GC. Now that we beat GC were the controversial selections part of the integrity, or did we win despite not having selection integrity?

People often refer to selection integrity in relation to them disagreeing with the selected team, typically because someone experienced has been selected and they want a particular player in instead.

Selection integrity often comes up when people come back from injury with out playing WAFL, and the team is playing well.

Especially when you change team structure to fit in the player.

It is good question if we won the game because we played two rucks, or we won the game despite the disadvantage of playing two rucks.
