Sitting back and thinking about it. I wish Woosha all the best for what he did for us this year. In order to us to move on as a club, and especially for the players and the football department a break needs to happen. If it ended up being a Woosha/Campo model, there would always be the link with this year and Phil. As hard as it is, we need a new voice to take us forward.

I was happy with what the coaching selection committee got us last time and I look forward to seeing what they get us for our next journey.

I want to retain a elite standards, team first and we fly as one culture however I think the playing group need a new beginning feel

Bickley saying Polous has been offered a new contract, but with the fitness department being restructured it won't be in his current role and another person (presumably Burton) is being offered the role above him. Polous isn't likely to accept the demotion and will look elsewhere.

Yeah interesting one

Trusting this is a good move

If that is correct, that's a little on the nose to me. If it is Burton then he has less qualifications than Poulos.

Not sure how Brett Burton could possibly be the best available, Australia wide, if the club was trying to put together a best in the league program. Not an area to be cheap.

Perhaps the person above them is somebody we don't know about, and Poulos didn't want the demotion while Burton was OK with it.

Yea, the guess that it was Burton was pure speculation, so what you say could certainly be true, but from what they said, Polous isn't accepting a demotion no matter who it is (which he's certainly entitled to do).

doesn't add up to me

Walsh spoke absolutely glowingly of our fitness dept

Walsh admitted that before stepping foot into the club he had some perceptions that we were not up to scratch in this space however once inside the club thought that we had best in class capability

Russell saying Craig is 100% off to Carlton to help out Bolton (no surprise), Woosha is a done deal to Essendon and the reason Tudor hasn't been getting interviews is cause he had a really bad one a few years ago, but certainly seems good enough to be a head coach.

Has a very bad feel to it. Jobs for the boys.

Sorry if this had been asked a few dozen times but are we expecting a massive clean out of the coaches or just one or two and Campo moving back into the same role as he has with Walsh?

Will Younie stay as the SANFL coach?

Surely Roo will get the fitness dept right. He's been banging on about it for years. Was scathing during Sando and Trigg's reign. Have heard him say many times "no point having 10 million dollars worth of players if you're gonna scrimp on the fitness dept". Back him in to get it right

Younie wont be going anywhere. The club think he is doing an outstanding job.

Robert Walls on 5AA reckons Woosha was an ordinary coach. 1 Premiership in 11 years with 53% strike rate. They had a unbelievable midfield and didnt have enough success.
Wallsy's right....while i thank woosha for helping us out in our time of need and wish him all the best going forward lets be honest the eagles players took the piss under him.....the culture was atrocious.
