Used to work with a couple of boys who were Olympic & Word Champs in weightlifting (100kg & 105kg+ categories) - Nicu Vlad (Romanian) & Stefan Botev (Bulgarian) who we dragged out here and rubber stamped 'em as Aussies to boost our medal count for the 92 Olympics.

Stefan used to squat 400kgs in reps of 5. I shit you not.

Turk seriously needs to get our boys on those same 'special' vitamins.

I don't know why people carp on about bench pressing. Squats are the truest indication of core strength, unless you base your career around taking marks on your back.
