I rart reckon I'll puke if I start reading posts about "honorable losses" and "good players" and 2nd rate excuses......

It's time for a few people to honestly assess where this side is at !!!!!!

1/ Scarlett - should be tied up to a pole and flogged to within an inch of his life. Can drop his head and apologise to the club for his stupidity costing his club 4 points today.

2/ Good to see the fitness coach got the arse today......our history of soft tissue injuries in the last 2 years is disgraceful.....someone has to be held accountable.

3/ 2 wins 2 losses and a game in Sydney next week. It's crunch time and I don't want to hear anymore garbage about injuries - if blokes like nathan ablett and lonergan are any good they need to show more than the 2nd rate performances we saw today. Ablett is raw and learning the game.....lonergan is a nuffa and has failed on the big stage yet again.

4/ Brad Ottens - gets a pass mark today but you have to question the decision to drop mark blake. Bomber said on radio that about blake "king is out Ottens is underdone - we still decided to drop mark blake - you do the maths"

5/ Cam Mooney ... very undisciplined acts again today. Did anyone else lip read the vision of the coach fronting him at 3/4 time on foxtel .."go in hard and attack the ball ---- not the man".

6/ Cameron Ling......... has just played his 2 worst games in memory. He looks bloody terrible (and slow).

The sky is falling, the sky is falling!!!

We lost to the top team and were missing heaps of players.

Tell me we wouldn't have one today with any ONE of Kingsley, Playfair, King, Scarlett or a fit Harley or Riccardi. If we'd have one by a point everyone would have been going on about how gutsy we were and what a great performance it was yet we were only 2 points away from it!

Take a deep breath. I'd much rather be losing by a point at this time of year than in 12 or 20 weeks time.

I think Mooney played alright.
But I do have one question..
Why was Milburn being played in the forward line when we clearly needed him in the backline today?
I don't understand..

Possibly because Nath and Tom did -nothing- and we needed Milburn across the forward line to give us something.

But he was put there at the start of the game.
And he didn't do much up forward anyways.

You summed it up pretty well PS!

Especially the point about Scarlett. I hope he really enjoyed watching the game today.

He hasn't had a great start to 2006, but he works his backside off so I am not going to criticise him harshly like some have.

when is ricco back in the side???? hopefully soon

no matter how i look at it, it doesn't make sense to me dropping blake. surely we would have been far better off keeping him and then rotating the ruck between him ottens and mooney so we can at times have blake rucking, ottens in the forward line and mooney down back, or at least ottens or mooney down forward.
