Disappointed to read on the Pies site that these 3 players didn't make the trip to West Coast. Very surprising.

Well that took any fun of watching the game but I guess theat means they really want to win this match.

So I guess that there chance of playing RD 1 is not as good as we thought

Mick's done this a few times now. He's basically given chances to fringe seniors in the first one.

Does shit me from a viewing perspective, but Mick's not afraid to play the kids from Round 1 if form warrants, so we just need to be patient.

Your post isn't even remotely close to being accurate. Malty has over the journey placed no importance on pre season matches and we get to see our youngsters on show almost always, and thats why we get bundled out first round most of the time. If we've gone in with a best team available policy then it's the first time in ages it's happened.

Good Point just watch the the Nab Cup games against the Roos in 06 and Eages in 04 and see what we mean
