The bands I managed to catch on Friday were

3 Inches of Blood - Thought this was a good opportiunity to scope out the beer situation and basic outline of the place while having my ears shattered by the singers high pitched vocal. Not a fan but they were better than the rubbish on the other stage.

Katatonia - Smallish crowd but I thought their set got better as they went on. Definately a band I will check out a bit more.

Frenzal Rhomb - Watched them from the safety of the grandstand as it rained. Typical Frenzal set, luckily played the few songs of theirs that I enjoy or can differentiate

Me First and the Gimmies Gimmies - very enjoyable set by them, get to sing along to.

Went to the bar until the start of Gwar and watched a couple of their songs before hitting the Dropkick Murphy's. They are a band that had never really grabbed me with what I had heard but I was very impressed with their show so I might need to give them another go

NoFx were brilliant. They finally played a set full of older stuff.

The the Descendents hit the stage and after waiting 20 years they were worth the wait. No complaints about the sound or set list, having gotten Bikeage in the encore. With so many awesome songs it would be hard to fit them into such a short set.

I was happy with how the day panned out, worth the money which is also nice.

Interesting he said ours was the best show of the tour, last coulpe of times we seemed to have copped the worst shows of the tour!
