Rice, you reap what you sow
Now you're not so plucky and confident, are you...
Concentrate more on your swimming and less on your shameless self-promotion
This serves you right and I hope you have learnt some of life's valuable lessons: don't get ahead of yourself, focus on what you do best and don't allow yourself to be consumed by the flim flam of momentary fame

You might not like her but apparently Kobe Bryant doesn't mind his Rice.

She didn't ask for any sympathy but simply what the fook is this shit.

She spoken about her work load not bee enough to give her a gold medal At these games but it's not due to her promotion schedule which was more onerous in the run up to the Beijing games.

Will always remain a great Australian athlete.

An unAussie thread of the highest proportions. Jam that tall poppy up ur arse OP

agree with the op. she's very obviously up herself and a bit of a media whore.
please quit with the ******* crying.
Can't agree. The woman is an Olympic legend. Three gold medals with three world records from the one games - how many Australians have ever done that?

Most athletes would have thrown in the towel after the injuries she's had, but she battled on and is still the sixth best swimmer in the world in her discipline. Never gave up. And so she broke down in an interview, thirty seconds after the results of four years of pain and hard work. So what? Give the girl a break.

I mean she's only been working hard for 4 whole years, training day after day for this event in a sport whete most people hit their peak in the late teens/early twenties. This is the equivalent of her grand final, did you look down on Andy Murray or Nick Riewoldt for coming to tears?

That's the sort of sanctimonious crap I would expect from Patrick Smith.

As SJ said she has injuries and has had the guts to fight back and make the team. She performed unbelievable deeds in Beijing when she was fully fit. It was always gonna be a tough task to match those heights. So what if she self promotes herself. What else do you do if you are an injured professional swimmer in your free down time?
