I have read all the Harry Potter books. Got a few spoilers from my big mouthed sister and that pissed me off. Now reading Scarecrow and other Matthew Reilly books. Got a pretty big collection of those.
Picked up Ice Station and The Tournament the other day, pretty keen to get stuck into them.

Reading a book on Passchendaele at the moment though.
I still remember when Deathly Hallows (the book) got released and I ran to KMart to buy it and I got really upset cause I couldn't find the book, and I went up to the clerk and they said they'd sold out. All the while my family was laughing, because there was a huge Harry Potter display with 100's of books 5 metres from where I was standing, and they got the clerk in on it.

I hate them.
I'd like to know what your revenge plot consists of.

Not everything needs a revenge plot.

Unfortunately I was too excited once I actually got the book to plan any revenge. And now I can't be bothered. Alternatively, exploding meatball sub.

I have them all unless he put out another since the army of thieves. Also got the 7 Ancient Wonders, 6 Sacred Stones and 5 Greatest Warriors books which are all very good.
I used to hate the Harry Potter books when I was an edgy primary school kid. This was without having read them, mind you. Then around the time the last one came out I decided to read them all in 2 weeks. I was so wrong.

I have all the Matthew Reilly books. They're great. Haven't read his latest one yet, so it sits on my shelf with the many other books I haven't got around to reading yet. Scarecrow might be my favourite.

I dispute that. Particularly when this dish of revenge will be served very, very cold.

Alternatively, non-exploding meatball subs for all. I haven't had lunch yet, that sounds delicious.

So you're saying, I should use a refrigerated exploding meatball sub?

Dude it's 4pm. You have a problem. Go eat something and be fat like me, it's more for people to love.

Yeah, there's been one more since Army of Thieves. The Tournament. That's the one I haven't gotten around to yet, haha.

I read three quarters of Six Sacred Stones and all of 5 Greatest Warriors in the one sitting. God damn Matthew Reilly and his ability to write such page turning books. It's addicting shit.

Perhaps. 'Hey, this is cold, what gives?'-BOOM!

I eat lots, just at weird times. I had a big packet of cheetos at 3 in the morning today.

I can't believe how he ends some of his books. You have to buy the next one to know what the heck happened to people. The end of the sacred stones being the prime example of it. Had to wait a year for the Greatest Warriors after I read it :(

Yes but the point is you're still skinny. I hate people that eat a lot but are skinny. Teach me your ways.

Preferably without doing exercise, or changing my eating habits.

That's exactly why I moved on to Five Greatest Warriors straight away! :p. You just can't not know what is happening next.
Thankfully I got on the bandwagon a bit late. I bought Ice Station first, loved it, then went and bought every other one of his books. No waiting around for me. Army of Thieves and The Tournament are the only ones i've had to wait for.

I don't exercise, nor do I even know my own eating habits. I just eat when the mood strikes.

Can't help you :p

There is nothing better than discovering a series of books/television series later than everyone else, and being able to absolutely blitz through them.

Watched all of Breaking Bad in about a month, and now I've got all these Reilly books to go through.

I got the Sacred Stones as it came out. So the Greatest Warriors didn't come out for a year and a bit afterwards. I got on the bandwagon after reading the Seven Ancient Wonders. It makes raiders of the lost arc look like a children's story... it is why I loved it. Not to mention the main character is an Aussie :D

It seems to happen to me a lot. Games are pretty much the only thing I ever buy/watch/read/play on release. I've watched one season of Game of Thrones which is the kind of thing right up my alley, one season of The Walking Dead, none of Breaking Bad. I have so many things to catch up on all the time, and I can just smash through it all whenever I want. It's great :p

I miss Jack West Jnr :(

In the same situation. Have a pile of Game of Thrones and Sopranos box sets just waiting there for me :p Been thinking about watching The Walking Dead, a mate nearly pestered me into it about this time last year. More likely to buy the game, if anything.

I don't know how I'm so compelled to buy games on release and yet I miss so many TV shows/movies/books. :p

I kind of wish I was in that predicament. I will be at the end of this year though! So... Yay?

Morons.

I remember when I went to see the Simpsons Movie and a couple of girls up the back chose to tell us every line 3-4 seconds before it actually happened. They stopped after they had some movie food thrown at them, but the first 5 minutes kinda sucked as a result.

I used to be like that, high school kinda killed reading for me after I was an avid reader when I was younger. I couldn't read anything of my own because I'd always have a school book to read and meticulously dissect, and when I had time off, I wasn't interested in reading... I've gotten back into it more recently though.

Why read when you can play Video Games, amirite?

What he said ^

Deferred my course, so I'll be busier next year. And yet I'll probably find just as much time to bother everyone on here.

Exactly. Somehow knocked off about 25 games in Year 12. I actually liked my Year 12 books though, which was odd.
