I was mostly curious

I am wondering how many positions would be open for someone in that field, working with people who have drug/alcohol dependency issues

personally I find it very interesting, addiction to a substance
Of what I know. There's a lot of voluntary work but not a huge amount that's paid. I'd suggest volunteering first to see if you like it.

yeah, I'll have to take a look at that

because it isn't really worth getting a diploma in it, if there are no paid positions; thanks

been on the PS4 tonight? :p

Not no paid positions but not a huge amount. But definitely look further into it as I'm by no means the authority.

Yeah a bit. Been playing it far too much actually.

Thanks youuuuu Hucklebuck! $340. Yahoo.

After 3 years of service, the old HTC Desire Z started playing up last night at the cricket. Top half of the home screen had a red tint and the bottom half a blue tint, and vice versa when I opened anything.

Figured I was probably due for a new one, so I went down and got a HTC One today. I'm rather impressed with it, particularly the app that allows me to turn televisions on at will. This is going to be fun.

If the actual phone itself was white, then you should've kept it. I mean I don't see a problem with that.

Nah, the front was black and the back was grey, although it had this silvery plate for the battery/sim/micro SD card. But even that was peeling.

It fought and fought hard, staved off the phone companies for an extra year, but the battle was lost.

Anyone playing the new CoD? Played three or so hours, struggling big time. Jumping is killing me. And spawning is broken as shit, lag too. Awful so far.

The amount of times I've put a full clip into someone for them to just turn around and get me in two or three bullets...

Aim for the head :p But nah, haven't played it

Yeah, i've been playing it. I quite like the jumping. What I don't like is ****ing campers and being spawn killed.

I don't lag heaps, but when I do, it's terrible.

So all in all, just another CoD game :p

I don't know how to feel about never having owned a Call of Duty game.

I've covered almost every other series, but somehow missed that boat.

Lump me in with that boat.

I've played it, and it was meh. I don't understand the obsession. And then the same people will complain about it, but continue to play it and buy the next edition of the game, and then complain about THAT game, but will continue playing it.

Have you played any FPS ever? Yes. Then you've played COD.
I enjoy it sometimes

but everything that is 'new' in CoD is just a rip off from a less successful FPS title

like the lean feature, I think was first in Soldier of Fortune, if you remember that game
SoF also had limbs flying off in it

the spawning after release is always messed up until the do the first patch

you've just got to find a gun and stick to it, I played all of Ghosts using the same game
pretty boring game to be honest, AW looks a bit more fast paced
and its probably due to be it made by a new developer, which hopefully draws more fans to the game
which then increases the competition, which makes the game more enjoyable....for me

I've still played my fair share of it, but never wasted any money on my own copy. I object to spending $90 on a game that has already been released 8 times.

I'm not too interested in the first person shooters, though. I used to like Wolfenstein back in the day, and more recently I loved the Resistance trilogy on PS3, but anything like Call of Duty or Battlefield just fails as entertainment, for mine.

Yeah, I don't get that. It's a weird cycle. From November to about March, they're Call of Duty experts, but from April to October, they hate the game.

That is because they suck by that stage ;)

I have been playing loads of Fallout, now don't tell me you don't like that game to?

I love Fallout. Well, 3 and New Vegas, anyway.

I'd forgotten about that, I guess I don't really think of it as a FPS.

Brilliant games. Every NPC has a wall of text for you to scroll through, but the story, the setting, the soundtrack - all top notch.

When was the last time you played one?

I also preferred Elder Scrolls Oblivion over Skyrim

:drunk:

Igloo that makes me most sad, I play mostly any games
even the ones I get made for playing, I love :p
I just enjoy completing games

I actually bought the New Vegas Ultimate Edition a few months ago. Smashed out the first half of the game in less than a week and haven't touched it since. :p

I preferred Oblivion to Skyrim, if only for spellmaking and the setting. But even then, outside of the really frozen, blizzard-y north, Skyrim was great, particularly the cities.

Why don't you go back to it?

I have been trying different builds
rather then use guns, I changed to a melee only character and that has been fun

and I need to pick up both again, I traded/sold Oblivion/Skyrim
after I played through them

beating those Dragons were pretty satisfying
