Public service announcement....if you are sending Christmas presents via Post to an interstate address then it's best to do it in the next week to ensure it gets there in time for Christmas. Trust me there are some capital city Post workers who can't understand the difference between Emu Park in Central Queensland and Gallspach in Austria even though they share a postcode.

Nearly have, 1 subject to go next year. Got my first (and probably only) H1 this semester which is awesome.

Oh I'm just happy I passed.

But once again, I did the stupid thing and aligned myself with the smart people. And when I ask how they went, their response is "Oh I went alright. 4 High Distinctions and 2 Distinctions".

Received two Christmas cards from friends in Melbourne today(Sat 6 Dec.), both postmarked Nov. 30. Not bad. Of course all of my cards will be late as usual. I've been recovering from surgery performed Oct.31, so have done all my Christmas shopping online. Great bargains and free delivery from most stores on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Thank you, Al Gore, for inventing the interwebs.

You can start off with a cheap M-Box running into Garage Band if you've got a mac, and then just grab an XLR and a mic like an SM58. Not too expensive, it'll only cost you probably $300 give or take.

I remember I used to muck around with Sony Acid Pro in high school that I think I pirated from somewhere

Now I want to get Guitar Pro again or something and write some songs, I used to have some decent songs in guitar pro

PC user, unless you want to use something like Audacity, which isn't bad honestly it's just got a negative stigma attached to it, then you're going to have fork out some cash for something like Reaper or Pro Tools

Tux guitar is like Guitar pro but free. Sounds obviously aren't as good though!
