Assassin creed UNITY... been playing it for a few days now, it is a beautifully rendered 18century paris, i mean really gorgeous, and feels very much alive.

Loving the game, missions are good and varied, quite a long game if you indulge in it rather then power game through. great clothing in that era, very nice weaponry, so much to love about it...

sadly there are some pretty stupid and off putting bugs, even after a massive 6 gig patch or something. The most annoying bug is after a certain point you have to re purchase weaponry after you change your gear, it doesn't remember that you bought it, and ulocked special items you gain cannot be used, the equip button wont show up, really stupid stuff by developer in that regard. There are still the rare go through a wall, or the floor and get stuck, but i have only experience these things in 4 player co op missions, never in single player.. and lets be honest, if you see the size of the city, it isn't so hard to imagine a few loose seems got through....and the rare freeze, frame rate issue has been fixed though.

The club competition system is just silly complex, i can't work it out, i have unlocked some items through it and joined a few clubs, got invited to a couple and even made my own for shits and giggles, but god knows why or how i unlocked stuff and how it works, me thinks it is broken. Still, the co-op playing missions with 4 other assassins in pretty cool, and this is from a single player type who isn't overly interested in online content most of the time.

Over all, it is a very nice game IMHO, but i understand due to that stupid equipment bug that power gamers would absolutely call it game breaking, for me it is annoying, but there is such a variety of clothing, and weapons that it doesn't ruin it for me. Plus the income system via a Theater Cafe you own bringing in money every 20 minutes means that you can re purchase by simply waiting a little rather then trying to make back the money.

I'm currently selling my PS3 online and once that happens I'm going to buy a ps4 and Fifa .. Should play online (anyone that is) when I finally get one.

I'm a huge fan of the AC series, but Ubisoft really screwed the pooch with this one.

There are so many bugs in the game from all reports. Plus, I don't have the latest gen consoles and the PC specs needed to run it are kind of ridiculous, so I can't play it.

I hear ya. apparently at launch even 2 sli gtx 980's couldn't run it at a stable framerate...WTF! shocking. i can assure you, after the stupid sized download patch 6.7gig i believe..which doesn't add to the game, only a gig is added, the rest is replacing existin files haha, talk about screwing the pooch, anyway, it runs very well on my wifes single 750, at max graphics,she just lower the res a little and all is well. My rig is 8 grand of awesome so not a good benchmark...anyway that part is fixed, there are stlll glitches however as i said, but ubisoft just released an apology to the gamers stating that everyone owning the game will get the dlc dead kings free, as a sorry and good will gesture. they got flames big time, by fans and reviewers alike.

I played blackflag, and loved the pirate theme, and played the first one, loved the crusade theme, but didnt play the mains and minis before black flag, as the time and setting didn't interest me to the extent where i chose chose it over another game, but apparently they scrwed those up too, tsk tsk. So now those eggs have come home to hatch.

Edit: oh and i love how unisoft cme out and announced proudly that the patch has over 600 fixes.....LMAO really, your announcing that! man did that go down as a lead balloon. all it did was show the game was in Alpha stage on release...idiots.

I've got an i7-4770k OC'ed with cooler, 16GB RAM, GTX780 OC, 2TB HDD, 512MB SDD and spent far too much on peripherals and I'm NOWHERE near 8k...
