Nice. Thanks. Especially good to hear about Jones as he was dreadful against OKC. To be fair though Westbrook -> Kirk Hinrich is a fair downgrade in opponent.

Haven't noticed them much, just placing screens for Jones and Muhammad
First time seeing them both play, got them confused a few times

Cheers. Reason I ask is that we have 16 guaranteed contracts so we still have to shed one player. Likely comes down to either trading somebody (KMart, Bjelica, Dieng, Pekovic etc) or buying out one of Rudez/Brown. No way anybody takes on Pek's contract and I wouldn't mind keeping both of Rudez/Brown. Rudez looks a nice spot up shooter and Brown is good backup at PG given Rubio is made of marshmallow and Miller is 40.

Yeah I tend to agree. Don't want LaVine playing PG for half the year again.

I reckon moving Martin is the logical solution, even though I love him. Bit worried about Shabazz getting buried on the bench with Martin soaking up the guard minutes and our front court logjam.

A contender team would love Martin. Play him off the bench as sixth man

Albeit against some admittedly ordinary competition, 11 dimes in 18 minutes for my boy D'Angelo Russell in the Lakers pre-season game yesterday ain't too bad. Will be nice to have a proper point guard running the offence this season.

The Cubs beat the Cardinals 8-6 at Wrigley tonight. A win tomorrow and they'll be in the National League Championship Series against either the New York Mets or the scumbag Dodgers. If the Cubs lose tomorrow then it's back to St Louis for the decider.

How exciting! First time the Cubs have won a playoff series in Chicago in 109 years. If I only had the $500+ for a ticket on Stubhub to a NLCS game at Wrigley. I had four tickets in the Bleachers for the 2003 World Series, but well, we didn't make it. Playing the Mets and beating them would help to heal the wounds I have from 1969. Like the Doggies, I never would have believed the Cubs would get this far let alone have a chance to get to the WS. My mother who will be 90 on Monday might see her first Cubs World Series Championship. Oh yeah, so might I!!!!

I live in hope.
