We lost him the moment we drafted him. It felt like he always wanted to leave.

We got 150 games from him and for most of them he was in our best players.

If this is a serious competition, Smith should get at least a week for striking. On the replay Impey gets it in the side of the head and appears to be unaware it's coming.

More likely it will be classified as "Misconduct" which attracts a fine, unless they decide to call it "Serious Misconduct" which goes straight to the tribunal. I'm guessing it will be the former and attract a fine.

It was clearly a strike but the AFL will use the fact he was holding a ball as a get out of jail card and somehow come up with an explanation where it wasn't a strike

The fact the ball was dead, out of bounds, should elevate it.
