Howe is back in the side this week.Howe ??
And I wouldn't bet on Hill playing next week
Does Gastro last 2 weeks or is this another "little bobby went places it shouldn't"?

Hawthorn didn't finish top 4Yeah. It’s a well worn footy cliche, but true more often than not.
I said it before, I think we’re like hawthorn of last year. Though likely to finish top 4, maybe top 2, which hopefully sees us progress further.

If you read my post you can see that I know thatHawthorn didn't finish top 4
We’ve won a lot of games we don’t normally win. The biggest scalp is Brisbane, but we beat them in 23 too.Sure, but I also think recent history shows that the teams that come home with a wet sail win flags, not teams that are 'picking their spots'.
And our form on the stretch does stand out. We've not just won, we've claimed scalps.

They kicked themselves out of both games.
She and that show are shockers. Why the **** would they have had to put his face up?
If there are any grounds to sue, I hope they get reamed
Gold Coast are probably a top four team. That's a real scalp. We’ve won a lot of games we don’t normally win. The biggest scalp is Brisbane, but we beat them in 23 too.

Forget Samcro24 he is just a negative NancyGold Coast are probably a top four team. That's a real scalp.
Either Hawthorn or Bulldogs are a finalist. We beat them convincingly.
I think these were valid reservations earlier in the season, but we also can't pretend more evidence hasn't occurred. And it's encouraging.

Sure, those are notionally harder games. Im not sure one of those wins is a premiership prerequisiteGold Coast I expected to beat but not in a half of footy.
Also posted in another thread the games vs bulldogs hawks and pies are must wins if we’re serious.
It is absolutely encouraging, not denying that. Just not top tier imo. That would be Geelong Brisbane or Collingwood (you could throw in freo now) away.
Obviously only 2 of those games is on our fixture.
It would be even more encouraging though.Sure, those are notionally harder games. Im not sure one of those wins is a premiership prerequisite
Then who is in premiership form? We just beat Gold Coast by 10 goals who then beat Brisbane by 10 goals a week later....

Sure, but that's starting to be a different questionIt would be even more encouraging though.
I’ve always had this strange thought that you have to lose a GF before you know how to win one, and yeh I know teams have won it on their first attempt
We play before Geelong so they’ll know exactly how much to win by to overtake us on %. Shocked.
Guess that just means we need to beat Collingwood now.
Why do Essendon even need a longer break at all. They’re not playing finals. Who cares.
I don’t necessarily believe that either, but I don’t think getting home would have any impact.
