Dogs got him for nothing... so if he leaves for nothing they're getting fair valueHe is contracted, but reckon there’s too much risk for Dogs to get close to full value.
How do the commentators still not know that if you are tackled with one arm free (and don't attempt a disposal) it's ALWAYS holding the ball

Very rarely and usually only if the umpire doesn't see the free arm
Don't forget the Suns have a home game v Essendon up their sleeve (the cyclone cancelled game). They're theoretically 5th.
Yes, that's the logical outcome.Sure… we were offering a heap for JHF (and you can see why, he’s going to be a gun). But given Rankine and Dawson were both trades I’m sure we would have found a way to get them one way or another. Different picks, future picks, different players traded out etc.
I've said it before and was shouted down, but I don't seen GWS ever being a good return on investment. Swans moved to Sydney 43 years ago and we get 1 or 2 genuine home grown recruits from Eastern suburbs Sydney per year ( not counting transplanted southern staters). So maybe in another 30 years we will get 1 or 2 home grown players per year from Western Sydney but how many millions will have been pumped in during that time? I strongly believe that money should be being spent on grass roots footy in traditional afl states instead.GWS and Gold Coast both going well this season. Finals looming. Sunny afternoon at Giants Stadium. About 12 people there
I know the northern expansion clubs were a long term project but it doesn't seem like there has been much local buy in with the Giants, even after 15 years or however long it's been
Gold Coast maybe a bit better? But it's hard to tell as it seems that lots of their crowd are opposition supporters up there for a winter holiday weekend
Yeah it would beYeah but wouldn't be by fiveaa.
I don’t think Tasmania will be coming in. The stadium is very very unpopular and there’s an election coming upPort Power will need to finish another few years at the bottom and then nail these early picks otherwise they will be in big trouble with Tasmania entering the AFL, there's no room to stuff up like their previous 1st rounders in Jones and Sinn who don't look like decent 1st rounders selections. They really stuffed up the Lukosius trade as this could be pick 4, if Cochrane end up a top 2 next year and they have access to him cheaply with draft points then it will make up for them not having access to pick 4 this year. It was looking bad last year as well before they got on a run late in the season.
The problem with that is they could well be out of contention by the time it comes around.Don't forget the Suns have a home game v Essendon up their sleeve (the cyclone cancelled game). They're theoretically 5th.

Don't ever discount Tasmanians, when they put their heads together, there is literally nothing thet can't achieveI don’t think Tasmania will be coming in. The stadium is very very unpopular and there’s an election coming up
Maybe, but weve seen this movie with the Suns before many times.Unlikely. I think they're a better chance to finish top 4 than they are to finish out of the 8.
I think the Suns are mature enough now to not fade away... they'll make it imho ... hard to judge who misses at this point. Sydney must won't be able to get their players into match fitness and form to improve imho.Maybe, but weve seen this movie with the Suns before many times.
Start seasons like a house on fire before falling in a heap. I still think the Giants are vulnerable but they bounced back hard from their loss to Port.
Freo are sneaking up on everyone and the Dogs at their best are as good as anyone.
Sydney could yet make a run too.
Didn't hurt them yesterdayI think the Suns are mature enough now to not fade away... they'll make it imho ... hard to judge who misses at this point. Sydney must won't be able to get their players into match fitness and form to improve imho.
That's because port are at rock bottom. But you can clearly see their players were gassed and not in form.Didn't hurt them yesterday
They could have won by 6-8 goals.
They might have left themselves with a bit too much to do
