It would be funny if Geelong's loss to Brisbane meant they ended up playing Brisbane in the first final at the MCG... and then Brisbane beat them.

Does it really matter whether we finish third or fourth? Either way, we play Collingwood or Geelong, at the MCG. I think we lose both times.

I'm pretty sure it's a recommendation, yes. He gets to make the final decision - although his club could of course decide "sorry, we're not taking on the liability" and delist him.

Why do they need to reach a consensus? There's only 3 outcomes, play, don't play and play but with ongoing monitoring. Once the medical expert has reviewed the information and arrived at their conclusion, why do hey need to amend that just to align with differing views. Although, this does sound familiar. If you're not prepared to do that, the $ cease to be available.

Thought he actually had one of his lesser games last night. Still prone to errors by foot.

Murphy Reid would be my favourite for the Rising Star quite easily thus far in the season.

The difference there is the Hawks didn’t match the Swans offer. They still got band 1 compensation, but it was only pick 19 because the Hawks were premiers.

Personally I don’t think there should be any free agency compensation for a restricted free agent.
