How silly are are Carlton. Davies is hardly any good, he won't bring them success. He's been at Port for a long time and they didn't make a grand final.

He was a bit small minded in his goals IMO, especially near the end. A man who was entirely self satisfied and seemed more interested in stroking his own ego and living off being the better side in SA than actually winning a premiership.

I think Davies and Ken will both be seen as overachievers.

They didn't win a flag, but they won a lot more games than they probably should have, and they were always in the front foot.

Between internal promotions and raiding the 2004 Premiership side and SANFL for assistant coaches, they rarely go to the market to get the best available.

Its always funny how things play out during the year. All club supporters including ours are the same

When the story first broke about Curnow, Carlton supporters were asking for apologies from jounalist. People can't get there heads around someone not being happy in their job and want a change even though we have all done it.

Then they went through a phase where they accepted it but there was no way he was leaving under any circumstances or unless Sydney gave up Heeney or Gouldon.

Now some are turning their heads to what another trade could look like and almost want him gone if he doesn't want to be there.
