Big time. But the question is will he keep his cool in big games. A great player, but has had many brain fades. I think both Sydney-based sides will probably make the 8 this year.

As a club Sydney do a lot right, but gee they have also been lucky on the FS and academy stuff. Just today, Blakey and Green have been immense.

Hard for us to compete when we get none of those types of advantages.

You'd think boxergate and beergate would be enough to not trust us at all when it comes to prioritising football over optics. We'd have suspended DeGoey for half the year just for being arrested.

Our management has been a disgrace for 20 years.

We are so quick to punish our players for any misdemeanour yet when our incompetent off field staff screw us out of 3 x first and 3 x second round picks we let Trigg stay on. To top it off the apricot slice brigade give him a standing ovation at the AGM!!

Players that can help win us games that stuff up = punish and/or get rid off them.

CEO/list manager that completely hobbled us on field = no worries guys stay on for as long as you like.

I’ve picked 1 out of 5 so far. taking as a given Swans will win this.

Port are fortunate to be playing Lions at the Gabba in the first game of the season. It’s when shit happens like us beating Geelong last year, but if Brisbane play reasonably well and don’t completely spud it up it will be enough to do Port.
