And the Carlton board when he turncoated after the best meltdown this board ever witnessed, throwing virtual hands at anyone that came at him. Funniest shit ever. You should be flattered, I would say you are easily by far one of our most iconic posters ever on the Crows Forum.

I heard Caro on AA yesterday (OK, I know) and she said that some clubs (inc Collingwood) and some tourist bodies (e.g. Tasmania) are unhappy with the floating fixture because it makes it hard for fans to plan travel, family events etc when they don't know the fixture far enough in advance. I think they're right.AFL: The whole idea of the rolling fixture was to give the better teams the better time-slots.
Also AFL: Yeah, nah, here's 3 Essendon games in a row on Friday nights.

R12-15 FIXTURE: Thursday night footy returns, Dons in primetime
The AFL has released the fixture for rounds 12 to 15www.afl.com.au
Shouldn't be an issue for Collingwood since they hardly leave Victoria.I heard Caro on AA yesterday (OK, I know) and she said that some clubs (inc Collingwood) and some tourist bodies (e.g. Tasmania) are unhappy with the floating fixture because it makes it hard for fans to plan travel, family events etc when they don't know the fixture far enough in advance. That was always the reason given for NOT having a floating fixture.I heard Caro on AA yesterday (OK, I know) and she said that some clubs (inc Collingwood) and some tourist bodies (e.g. Tasmania) are unhappy with the floating fixture because it makes it hard for fans to plan travel, family events etc when they don't know the fixture far enough in advance. Surprised Hardwick hasn't made any comments about having to 'travel' all the way to Marvel Stadium.

Eventually the TV money won the argument, as money always does when Gil the Dill is involved in decision making.
TV money wins out then the AFL screws them over by scheduling the blockbuster that is Essendon vs West Coast on a Friday night
I think we need an FAQ somewhere for us clueless n00bs to save us the embarrassment of having to ask what the hell people are talking about.14 years! What’s it like being a newbie?
Why do you say that?
He is Keyser Söze, or at least that's what Beau Waters' mum said.he's everyone and no-one
Haha, but to be fair, both clubs have interstate supporters who might want to travel to Vic, and they probably don't mind having more oppo supporters to boost the gate takings. I think all clubs would be wanting to make it easier for their supporters to travel but yes, especially the non-Vic clubs.Shouldn't be an issue for Collingwood since they hardly leave Victoria.

Has it really "won", though? It's not looking like the games they are scheduling in prime time are all actual ratings blockbusters. That was always the reason given for NOT having a floating fixture.

It was a double entendre, but you already knew that![]()

I didn’t take relapse for a comedian, but that was gold.
Clean hands
