He is very crafty around goals, just feel they have plans for him long term on the wing.
Agree.

We need to prioritise games into Cook this year as he has plenty of upside. He is the type of player we need to fast track to 50 games.

With our wingmen out/under a cloud, it's a good opportunity to play him as a forward/wingman.

He did enough last week in the sanfl to play this week.

What would be the last unprofessional things crows/port related thing he’s said?
From memory he disagreed with DBJ getting AA, most here would agree with that.
He’s had a twitter war with Tex, probably more inappropriate from Tex’s end.
Said we were (or would be?) the worst side in the crows history last year, not that far off the mark surely.
Picked us to finish last this year - hardly unprofessional, backed it up with reasons such as where are our goals coming from - (very valid question if you ask me)

Tend to agree.

There’s plenty that don’t like him because of his port connection and yes they do need to harden up.

There's also the fact that he has a habit of doing/saying some really dumb things.

Back in 2017 in the lead up to the finals Kane was desperately doing all he could to put as much expectations as possible on Adelaide by constantly bringing up was stuff like "The minimum expectation for Adelaide is to make a Grand Final", "They finished top and have two home finals so there should be no excuses at all for missing the Grand Final".

Now I don't have any issue with statements like that if Kane geniunely believed it, but the problem I had was that Kane then turns around and tips both GWS and Geelong against us in the finals.

If he genuinely thought we would lose all our finals games then why was he trying to put as much expectation as he could us other than doing it in the hope that we fail?

It’s not fair that Port don’t get to host a February Grand Final rematch in round 1 against Carlton at home

Thing is - they are right. Once again a VERY clear indication that the AFL is fully designed for Victoria. There is no National Competition.
We can have a grand final rematch - as long as the game can be played in Victoria, because 'traditionally' we start the season in Melbourne?

Why?? Because F@#! everyone else, that's why.

And which club was the culprit in this state that led to this?

Caller into Triple M, they're doing a rumour section that if you're proven correct you win $1000 has said half a dozen best 22 Port players have Covid and will miss Round 1.

Very interesting, if it runs through them the first few weeks of the season could be tough for them

Thats consistent with the Rozee news

Reckon it would be funnier at the end of the year.

This was one thing I thought Kane Cornes got right...

Waste of a match up having the GF rematch tonight. I know everyone has wanted it for a long time, but possibly only because they know games like Queens Birthday and ANZAC day will never change?

Basically, if the Bulldogs win, as a Melbourne supporter, who cares, what does it prove, Melbourne still have the premiership, they aren't getting one back on them tonight.

I'd open the round with something like the loser of the runner up's prelim vs. the premier, it gives supporters something to add to that thing we had in 05/06 "we would have won if we got to the grand final and played Sydney".

So the opening round in 2006 would have been Sydney vs. Crows, would we have beaten them if we made the Grand Final, maybe, let's find out. Plus it's two top 4 teams, going to be a good match.

Wait until teams have found their form before playing the big grand final rematch, reward them with ANZAC day or Queens Birthday, something stand alone.

I just think some of these blockbuster games should be rewarded based on results, let teams know that if they finish top, they'll get x next year. Even if it's stuff like the top 2 Victorian teams get something special at the MCG, the top SA team gets the first home Showdown on a Friday/Saturday night. Lock it in based on results so that teams can earn them, things like that.

I’ve posted before … and I’ll post again.

Anzac Day should be for the Anzac Day cup.

The holders v premiers. So this year would be Essendon (who won last year v Melbourne).

If Melbourne win, and Brisbane win the flag it’s Melb v Brisbane at the McG.

If Brisbane win in 2023 and Bulldogs win the flag, it’s Brisbane v Bulldogs in Brisbane.

If the holders and the premiers are the same team, it’s a GF rematch.

This might be a better idea, I like it. I'm for anything that creates good games in the big time slots, but also predictably rewards teams for good performances.

Feel good story behind young SA KPF Kaine Baldwin on debut for the Bombers after 2 ACL's and other complications with them in his rehab.

Probably shaped as the best KPF prospect in the land as a 16 year old, really hope all goes well for the young fella after being overlooked in the 2020 draft..
