From memory they had some performances like this last year and made the finals.Ben Rutten might be looking over his shoulder at the thought of Clarkson coming in after this performance.
Clarkson at a big 4 club that hasn't won a final in yonks?? AFL will love that sh*t
Essendon board need to make some phone calls
Truck is safe as houses. Essendon exceeded expectations when they were widely tipped to be challenging for the spoon. The media expectations on them pre-season was ridiculous, especially those that had them top 4. Realistically, they are still a couple of years off, progression isn't always linear.Ben Rutten might be looking over his shoulder at the thought of Clarkson coming in after this performance.

5 and 30ish on debut
Dominated at Subiaco too. With him and Hayes last night, we'll probably see more and more state league stars get picked up.Martin with 27 and 5 goals on debut bloody excellent
It’s just about the best game he’s ever played at AFL level.
I wish we had a few more downhill skiers.
Yep no one is beating that, one of the best Debuts of all time
I mean we were the highest scoring team in the league, but yeah serious problems. These people had no problem with downhill skiers when our forward line was beating up on sh*t sides in the Pyke years. Try arguing that our forward line had serious problems when it didn't get easy ball and you'd be howled down and told how much more we scored than other sides. That they watched opponents run the ball out without pressure when the midfield was only breaking even didn't matter. But now these clowns are experts on downhill skiing.

Another quality contribution from you, you're on fire.Lol great move giving Stengle the flick.
fu** this club is idiotic.
Talk about self congratulations
That's not quite right is it, I thought we told him to go back to the SANFL last year and do his penance and then we'd look at him again....he chose not to.Stengle kicking one goal for another team is one goal too many.
The AFC put a line through him. They signalled to the world, this guy is done, he’s a lost cause, it’s not us, it’s him.
When you do that, you better be ******* 100% right. And it’s abundantly clear they weren’t.
And if you’re a Crows supporter who is shocked by that, you’re a ******* idiot.

How on earth are you right ?? We flicked a bloke for being dumb enough to do the wrong thing too often, the last time getting caught in public no less.Sometimes people go out on a limb and disagree with the club and it turns out they're right. I know that's hard for you to understand because the club has never made a decision that you're unhappy with.
As usual, yepAm I wrong?

Sometimes I wonder if you just argue for the sake of it. Actually no, I don't wonder at all.
They gave Stengle clear expectations on what they wanted from him. He broke that and then when they offered him a final chance of what he needed to do to rejoin the group he said "no". Didn't leave the club much choice. The club can't suddenly start backing down, football department would lose all credibility with the players.Stengle kicking one goal for another team is one goal too many.

I suppose Richmond making the same decision means they're dumb too hey ??
Because he was continually getting caught by the police doing it. First drink driving, then having coke and then more pictures leaked to the media after that.Out of interest, if his on field performances are fine - what does it matter?
