They have no feel for the game, we say it every year but the level of umpiring actually does get worse each season.

The umpiring is horrible right now. Every year they get worse. Is it truly as hard as they make it out to be or the afl rules are simply unumpirable. Because id say well in excess of 60% of all decisions are wrong.

The non decisions are killer. The way the game is played these days there should be 50 frees paid per team with way more incorrect disposals and holding the mans paid

Which is the reason they don’t pay them. Tackling has tripled in the last 10 years and if they paid frees every time the game wouldn’t go anywhere. Rightly they try and pay the obvious ones but clearly they don’t always get these right.

I dont know.. the North selectors don’t automatically pick the oldest possible side like the crows one’s seem to do?.. maybe?..
