Cameron's only game plan was the "GWS tsunami" were his top pick midfielders just ran in wave (much like Hinkley's 2014 game plan) and had excellent disposal, this was relatively effective and they did play in a Grand Final but they aren't even doing this simple game plan anymore.

They were pretty stiff not to win it in 2016.

Those line breaking players - Shiel, Treloar, Whitfield, Scully, Williams, Griffen...wow.

Me too, my big ???? on him was his contested footy leading up to the draft and he hasn't shirked any contests in the games I've watched. I think he's going to be a very good player because he's always had the athleticism and skills.

From what Hamish has said if Rachele had been gone I'm pretty sure Wanganeen-Milera would be suiting up in a Crows jumper.
Wasn't that FAITH? ;)

GWS really are an aggressively mundane team to watch these days.
If the Crows bring the same intensity as we did vs Richmond and Port we will roll them.

I think Cameron will have lost the players after tonight.

The Crows ought to beat them, but GWS will beat me via micro-sleeps.

Tonight's game was much like a Tom Browne tweet. It happened, it was a thing, but nothing came from it that wasn't already known.

Crows a poor 1st quarter side, Giants a better one.

However our second half is superior to theirs.

IF we are in the game at HT, I will be happy.

Much like Port, the GWS board will be thinking about the right timing to get rid of Cameron before key players decide they don’t want to be there any more. They can’t afford to lose good players

Apparently Port have now lost their GM Commercial

Something about a sinking ship keeps occurring to me. If sponsors start making waves it’ll be over for Ken quick smart

Interestingly, they still have a couple of ‘China Engagement’ people on their payroll. Perhaps that ship hasn’t sailed just yet.

They pushed him out, they didn’t lose him
Ladham had a falling out with Hinkley, same as what happened with Howard and Wingard so Port Power loss them. Ryder was the only player they pushed out because they bought Lycett on big money given West Coast received a band 2 FA compensation. Again overpaying for players like what they did with Motlop and Rockliff, hence the narrative that they always get the player they want except they didn't get Dawson who has more quality than both combined.

The decision to focus the umpires on umpire dissent through the movement of arms is pathetic and I believe the AFLPA need to fight back. But here is the problem. Players, coaches, clubs and fans dont like it and think its an overreach, but at the same time, I've seen those same players who complain about it, happily take the 50m and kick a goal. That to me has been the most disappointing thing about the current game. I believe all clubs should fight back by refusing to take the 50m. I also think the umpires have a lot to answer for here as well. The decision to focus on this to correct an issue not player driven in the first place should have been a policy dictated by the umpires not Brad Scott or other egos in the backroom who have no idea what they are talking about. The minute the umpiring department was told to do this, they should have said no. Umpires are at the coalface and they know first hand what is dissent and they aren't stupid. They pay 50m for abuse already. Based on this alone, they should have said we are refusing to pay it it will make crowd abuse worse, which it has. They've totally targeted the wrong thing and everyone knows it and the umpires are coping it worse.

Green looked totally gassed by 3qtr time...

GWS still have the talent to be a premiership team... but their coaches and gameplan suck
Its a good point you raised, as he spent a lot of time on the bench too.

Unusual, because he should have been training hard to be match fit. You would expect a person to be gassed thats coming back from an injury that prevented him from maintaining his fitness base.

It may hopefully take Toby a few weeks to reach peak again.

What's happened to Whitfield, he's gone downhill.
GWS don't look fit, haven't won a last quarter all year
A few players look a bit chubby, like Toby Green
John Ralph said last night that the word was Whitfield is carrying an injury which if performances are taken into account looks on the money. Obviously impacting his usual running power.

Reeks of Pyke playing underperforming senior players who were either carrying injuries or in poor form to try and scrap into the finals in 2019.
