The 'leave the kid/lad alone he's only 19' gaslighting from the Port flogs is cringeworthy - he's getting paid big coin he's not working the drive-thru at McDonalds you chodes

Check out young Domenic03's comments there..some real funny ones

The mental gymnastics hurts my head.

You watch us win this weekend. Our young players continue to progress and develop, but Laird, Walker, Sloane and even Dawson perform well.

Strap On and his Dom will hit us with 'Reliant on experienced players'.

It's just a flawed thread when you rate down young players who get support from experience. Surely this is the A1 position to be in for long term development.

Classist. Hey he may put up glass screens around himself for protection like Hindley St McDonald's.

That Adelaide/North/Hawthorn thread on the main board is pretty funny. Looking forward to this week's game against the Hawks.

Is there a bigger flog on Bigfooty than the Hawks' Strap On mod?

Hawks will be in trouble for years and I fully embrace it. The amount of entitlement they have after the years of dominance

He had the opportunity to lay (relatively) low by seeing out his contract, maybe even extending for 2 more seasons, and grow into the game.

Instead he walked out on his contract just 1 year on, on massive coin (I think I ready he’s getting paid $800k from next year).

Got to the club he wanted on massive coin, good on him, but these were choices that were always going to catapult him into the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. Decisions made and now has to cop the consequences.

And LOL telling the fans not to boo. Only way surer to get everyone booing just to get in on the fun. Media should have kept their mouths shut and Hinkley should have replied ‘Boos? Didn’t notice’.

Every time I hear the crowd yell "booooze" I think of Dipper "Mate, I'm shouting!"

Should be investigated and I hope it is.

JHF would have likely said in his interviews he is happy to go to North and stay in Victoria at least in the short term. This likely response would have closed the doors on North entertaining Adelaides offer of three 1st rounders. Did JHF give North false hope as he/advisors knew that Port was not in a position to outbid Adelaide's offer, so better to go to North for a year and the jump ship?

Sliding Doors moment for a number of clubs right here.

What an outstanding cluster * failure that China debacle was, and yet the paid-off media were, and still are, silent about the completely shitful mess. Port and the AFL got off lightly there.
Getting into bed with China, just about treason really. I think the AFL realises that now, we won't be seeing a repeat of that

Ansolutely nothing to investigate beyond truly wild speculation.
I'm not a fan of the smears, but just cos a very, very good junior player understandably wants to go to the club he grew up supporting rather than stay at the sh@t show North was doesn't inherently equal conspiracy.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Phillipou has done the same thing. Will be really interesting to see when he resigns. Top draft picks that play early generally sign extensions pretty quickly

Really don't see the big deal with the JHF situation. He would have come back at the end of this year if something wasn't worked out. I'd have less respect had he sat out this year if a trade wasn't done (which he may have, never liked the Freo player who did that, and thought it was a cheap act) but given a trade was worked out, so what?

I mean Port could have been in his ear before the draft going "no worries knackers, do your 2 years, we'll get you back at the end of the contract" and to be honest, we should be doing that, should have don't it to Hollands and the Poo. That is being proactive and controlling your clubs destiny.

Ross doesn't suffer fools, he'd sniff out those sort of shenanigans.

JHF in the midfield with Sheezel and Clarko pulling the strings would have been fascinating

Instead we get JFH and Willem Drew lacing out to Darcy Byrne-Jones coming on as the sub.

But Clarko was not confirmed till JHF left?

Cant recall.

No Clarko was announced before JHF wanted to publicly leave. From memory there was a story how they chatted at Brownlow night and I know there was a lot of confidence that Clarko would keep him. Also story ran that Clarkson came and met his family over year to reassure them that all the dramas would be behind them.

Then the racism scandal broke…
