After listening to Chris Davies this morning I am not sure why they would bring in Soldo and Sweet. Secondly I don't know why both players would come in when the reason for them leaving is to be the number 1 ruckman.

I guess they both come in and compete against each other for the spot.

I presume they will split next years first to get them done.

I guess they are targeting their needs but even with Sweet, Sav and BZT they are using all their picks on three average players. I think they are are bit lost with their list management.

McCartin over Petracca was the real killer in that one. Petracca was touted as the #1 all year and the Saints took a punt on McCartin in the hopes to replace an ageing Riewoldt.

At least with Billings, it seemed ok at the time as the Bont was a bit of a late bloomer IIRC and wasn't seen as a high pick until later in the year. Obviously their careers have turned out very different.

He was overated even in his prime but I don't see how any club could use a list spot on him. He can't run or jump anymore.

Yeah, looked cooked, but given a shortage of ruckmen he will likely get a backup spot.
