Probably Tom Boyd's fault. I'm enjoying watching the Bont, Stringer, Murphy, Johannisen, etc.

Definitely a better game than the Adelaide Brisbane match. I think Alan Richardson is doing a very good job with St Kilda - very disciplined and well setup team despite the lack of experience.

Boyd doesn't do enough, doesn't crash the packs nearly enough and can't stand up in tackles. Would want to improve 10 fold over the next 12 months or the media pressure will consume him!

Boyd is very weak at the contest. I don't think that body strength changes that either, you either have that mindset or you don't. He lacks a hunger, doesn't look like a footballer to me let alone an imposing forward.

He's a 105kg Jack Watts without the skills on 2.5 times the cash. Thank **** that's not us.

Boyd is definitely improving but he needs to work harder and play a lot smarter. Has probably spent more time on media training than on game plans to date. Certainly hasn't done much against any decent opponents - Delaney is ordinary at best.

Was thinking that too, especially that last contest with about 1 minute to go. Just fell over like a tree being chopped down by a lumberjack. Tiiiimmmmbbbeerrrr.

Incredible amounts of scrutiny on Boyd. FFS he's a 19yo 20 game player who is 200cm. Surprise surprise he's not going to dominate the competition in his second year.

Of course there is going to be scrutiny, he left his original club after a year for huge money.

I agree he will be fine just pointing out what he is lacking in his game at the moment and that the media will come after him soon enough, all I can say is thank god we have Hogan
