My my my, what brown arms you have

That Shuey reel went for 6 minutesOr, you know, it could be somewhere in between the cringey 6 minute Shuey bad jokes reel and the bare minimum? Perhaps something as simple as having a few players listing the games and chatting about it would be more than sufficient to satiate your need for clickety click click.
.Too soonThere’s a fine line between funny and cringe. All depends on who’s running the accounts. There are the GWS of the world (genuinely funny) and then there are the social media accounts which think they are GWS but are actually cringe.
This is true for a lot of business and government organisations. They’ve figured out that memes and jokes drive up interaction and there are some orgs which do a great job of being very good and topical when it comes to their posts, and then there are ones that are basically “lol so how about airplane food, sucks huh? Here’s a meme about Harambe!”

Its right up there with posting Gee on anything to do with Venables and putting in Jack Watts as a poll option as embarrassing crap just clogging up feeds.Fixture reveals were good when only GWS did them.
Now that everyone does them....they're cringe as ****
I watched it while waiting for my vegan tendies to cook in the airfryer. That Shuey reel went for 6 minutes.
Glad I didn't buy into it.
"GC in Round 1"Or, you know, it could be somewhere in between the cringey 6 minute Shuey bad jokes reel and the bare minimum? Perhaps something as simple as having a few players listing the games and chatting about it would be more than sufficient to satiate your need for clickety click click.
"GC in Round 1"
"Yeah that should be a good game, they're a tough opposition"
"We have North in Round 2"
"Good to be back at home, that should be a good game, they can be a tough opponent"
"Round 3 we have..."
Pass
And they were all in their own hotel room and could only communicate via text? What if they did it whilst voting a player off each round, is that something that you'd be interested in?
Via Facebook Messenger? And they were all in their own hotel room and could only communicate via text?
It’s aimed at the younger, Gen Z demographic.I'm unsure if a "schedule reveal" even does anything for me personally. I'd be pretty content with a graphic showing our round by round, but it seems that a lot of fans must like the engagement of this sort of stuff. Prefer transparent injury reports and up to date contract statuses myself.

Just finished up an accounting conference where Chartered Accountants ANZ explained their approach into tricking Gen Z into thinking accounting isn’t as boring as it is, and they’re pulling the same thing. Trying to meet them at their level.
It’s not for us, and that’s ok. It’s not designed to be for us.
At least somebody would have gone to the effort of putting that all together, rather than some AI bullshit. That graphic WCE shared of Luke Shuey doing fixture recon with all the paraphernalia around him looked like AI garbage.
Come on mate, as if you're not going to make the most of Kiss cam when you get put up on the big screen.Of course, I'm not naive enough to think all engagement is for me. However I do feel like it's another step for the sport on the direction of the US sports with the hammed up 3 day draft night, the dressed up arrivals and fixture announcement just feeling overly corny and unnecessary.
Come on mate, as if you're not going to make the most of Kiss cam when you get put up on the big screen.
Just make sure it's not the Coldplay version...
The thing is, if they never reacted the way they did, not a single person would've known.F*ck mate I'll take what I can get these days!
"Not for profit"Its just another tool the AFL uses to stay front and centre for 12 months of the year.
Gen Z have clearly never heard the accounting songIt’s aimed at the younger, Gen Z demographic.

Obviously WA will be no match especially vs Victoria's immensely strong midfield. This is probably a trial run, with SA lining up to play Victoria next up.![]()
