Remember all those stupid reasons mediocre teams like North Melbourne, Richmond, Essendon aren't able to catapult into premiership/finals stardom? Like age, timing of peaking, fitness and so forth? Well, whenever I look at a team like Port Adelaide, that came out of nothing 3 years ago to pretty much making Hawthorn look second rate right now, all those excuses look piss weak. Gerard Whateley and Eddie (non Collingwood games) (as has been mentioned, Drew Morphett and Adam White are underrated in my opinion… amongst others) are better.


Radio callers are far better to listen to, in general.

Watching a replay of the Port/Hawks game

Chad Wingard is going to be a superstar if he's not already half way there

It was a good win by Port.. Hawks were undermanned by still have excellent systems and some handy talent.. Port just responded every time they needed to.

I can't help but have footy club envy.. Port doing this year what I expected of us, improving and stamping themselves as a top 4 team. Instead we have gone the other way. **** the AFL, **** ASADA, **** David Evans, **** Thompson..

Grrrr it makes me angry.

*What Port have done on, and off, the field is nothing short of spectacular.. this was a team that was one step away from folding imho.. and two years later they are selling out the AO, beating the reigning Premiers and sitting on top the ladder.. impressive all round. Hats off to them.
