Spare me. Frost is in a league of his own. I've seen him play live twice this year, plus most others on TV. His game is the illegal arm hold.

Overstated, didn't see him do it once on screen tonight. He is clearly a limited player, who is getting the most out of himself, doing something that most defenders do a couple of times a game at least.

To be fair, I don't think Adelaide kicked to a one-on-one contest involving Frost tonight. Mainly because it took them about 20 seconds to work out that Keefe was having a mare and kicked to his man instead.

I've learnt that there are different rules for Essendon players than the rest. Only Essendon players can bump/scratch/hold.niggle etc.

Have posted for 12 months that Collingwood's kicking is their achilles heel, particularly their kicking out of defensive 50. Their overall pressure is at the elite level, which will help them win many games, but when the pressure drops they can't retain the ball in their forward 50.

Jenkins continues to impress and should never have been allowed to leave . Carlisle made Keefe look AA standard and Jenkins made Keefe look VFL standard.

I have a suspicion that Cloke's best may be behind him. He's a shadow of his past self.

I would have minded us signing Pods last year.. or keeping Jenkins several years ago.

Both would fit in our forward line easily atm.

Jenkins is going to be a very handy 2/3rd tall forward for Adelaide.. works hard, elite fitness and still a lot of development/upside to go.

Not a naturally brilliant kick for mine. More of an Enright type who has all the attributes, but doesn't have the 55m no look lace out kick in his bag of tricks.

Thats a better comparison. Has that cool, calm head on his shoulders. Reads the play well, makes the right decisions but as you mentioned, the glaring difference in kicking is more Enright(/Mackie?) than BJ.

BJ is arguably the best kick in the comp.

Maybe. But I was disappointed at the time. I thought we should have delisted/traded Gumby. Personally.

But that is because I never gave Gumby any hope of a)getting on the park and b) being any good once he did.

And of course saying we should have kept Jenkins would mean we probably wouldn't have got Jackson Merrett 10 places later in the draft.

Nice to see the big man take the Pies apart though. That fend off and snap while being tackled (by a different player) was just brutal.
