The Hannaberry and Cooney decisions show no concern for the guy with his head over the ball and who has first 'dibs' gaining possession of the ball. I fully endorsed the Raines/Goddard decision as both players arrived at the ball at the same time.

This new interpretation will encourage the cheap shot merchants.

So players shouldn't put their heads over the ball. Players shouldn't expect head high contact when they reach the ground ball first. Players have a duty of care.

Not really, Kurt Tippett went pick 11 in the PSD in 2012 simply because he had strongly nominated Sydney.
He was even available at our pick 6, but in no circumstance were we ever going to take him. He had a mil price tag on his head.
