Has not improved in the slightest in terms of work rate and has escaped criticism all year. Despite playing 5 extra games, more game time (got subbed out twice in 2013) and remaining injury free, he is only +3 in goals and -8 in goal assists.

His figures are probably better than in 2013,because he is getting the number one defender each week.

My guess is that the GC will beat the WC. GC's form the last two weeks has been solid and they are good enough to win at home.

Richmond lose and one (but only one) of Adelaide, Collingwood and West Coast win. Given the opposition it probably comes down to Gold Coast beating West Coast.

Taberner looked pretty good for Freo yesterday.

Not sure if he is enough of a goal kicking threat at this stage but if he is getting 22 touches between wing and arc it's keeping Pav, Ballantyne and Walters closer to goal with space to lead into.

It's looking that way. They beat Gold Coast and Richmond lose to Sydney and West Coast will play either Port or Freo.

It's certainly making a mockery of the old "the teams in the 8 after round 14 are the ones that end up making finals" theory you see quite often in the media given it's likely GC and Collingwood who were in there earlier will miss.
