I'm stealing this discussion point from the Sunday Footy Show, but who would everyone rate as the top 5 best small forwards in the comp based on current ability as well as current form? (I'm defining current ability as what the player is capable of at the best and current form as the footy they're producing right now).

I'd go:

1. Cameron
2. Greene
3. Papley
4. Stengle
5. Pickett

Honourable mentions to Rankine and Bruest.

I know Stengle is injured but when he's fit and firing his best footy is of a very high level.

I personally thought Stengle was disappointing this year up until he got injured. Our forward structure was poor granted early days but he was not offering a lot and was ill disciplined.

He was definitely down on last year. My ranking of small forwards was based on a combination of overall current ability as well as current form, not just current form.

Was a tweet with a link to an article about a suburban footballer in Melbourne who suffered a cardiac arrest during a game yesterday.

Seriously is there a worse kick for goal than McKay? Unless he's absolute point blank he rarely even remotely looks like slotting one.

Sam Walsh reminded me of Cameron Ling circa 2006 then. Blues players streaming forward, Walsh gets on the end of a chain of handballs....and turns and kicks it backwards. Absolute head scratcher.
