Did you actually watch Saturday nights game ???

I thought Richmond played pretty well - they had Ess under control and at arms length - the entire 2nd half - every time the Dons challenged - the Tigers had the answers

They got a bad/awkward bounce of the ball at CHB late in the game - where they had multiple defenders covering it - they were over a goal in front at that stage - that enabled Ess to have a flukers hope to pinch the game right at the death - for a most unlikely win

I dont think he would be unhappy how they played Sat night - he wouldnt be unhappy with his players - not at all - in my opinion it was a miracle how Ess ended up winning that game

Yep...got beaten by a side that hasn't played finals since for years... they are show glimpses but there is a lot of work to do . Time to move on to a side thats close to be ready to win (imo)

If as reported above that Hardwick is likely coaching elsewhere next year - what jobs do we think would be available?

WCE & Carlton seem most likely to have an open senior coaching spot, other than obviously Richmond

Or from left field, maybe Brisbane - Fagan has got them close over recent seasons, but hasn't been able to get Brisbane over that final hurdle of getting into a grand final. Another failure to get to the final match of the year, could potentially see Brisbane looking at their options

I'd be surprised if he's back coaching anytime soon, he's done it for a long time and if he is burnt out a bit, can't see him jumping straight back into it.

However, money talks. I think Port could be his next move if they decide to move on from Ken, premiership player there.

Good question. The only jobs I can see being available (besides the Richmond job) would be:

Gold Coast (99%+ likelihood)
West Coast (90% likelihood)
Carlton (60% likelihood)
Port Adelaide (40% likelihood)
North Melbourne (15% likelihood...only on the off chance that Clarkson's mental health has deteriorated to the point that he decides not to return to coaching)
Fremantle (10% likelihood...only if they regress again)

SEN now going with it's confirmed Hardwick is leaving

Just for LOL's, I now kinda want tomorrow's press conference to be that Hardwick is extending for another 2 years
It's kind of annoying. Richmond will stop making panicked list decisions and start investing in their list properly. Unlikely we see them get burned to the ground the way Hawthorn did

Too late
There list is already in a world of pain the next 2 years
