Really sick watching teams play dumb football against Collingwood. Teams play way too safe on offence. Collingwood’s entire defence relies on their opponents going wide with the ball. Allows Collingwood’s players to keep a greater width then their opposition that their opponents risk adverse nature prevents them from exploiting. Their players zonal defense is near non-existent beyond the initial line of resistance on the ground ball.

On defence teams must zone off the centre of the ground. Collingwood has to go quick through the middle as their forwards need space.

Let them take the long way round. By the time the ball gets to the Collingwood forward line, your zone can shift back faster then they can move the ball and they’ll have nothing to kick to but congestion

Interesting. I'd like to see it at the ground but we don't play them till round 18.

This is from 2022, and we know Gunston has moved on - but the Lions may be stuck with a few of these players for a few more years yet

And this looked a crazy deal then and seems even crazier now - Hipwood must be laughing to know his future is secured considering what he hasn't achieved to date

Hipwood is the only issue I see there.

While true now, that tweet is from 2022 - puts into a bit more perspective how much the Lions list management team & MC were banking on a core group for a long time

Linc is a good player and always give 100%
Cameron has the ability to be AA
Rayner is a good forward mid

The real problem is Hipshit and Daniturd

Hipshit has maybe 3 good games a year the rest average or s**t
Daniturd is either great of ******* hopeless

Combined those 2 would be on 1.5-2mil a year
