And no club should be allowed the no1 pick the year after coming last only because their team had half their players banned for being convicted drug cheats

Dodo making a mess of the pick was a nice bit of justice.
Was it? Sort of like when Richmond took Tambling over Franklin, everyone would've done the same thing. Just like that seasons draft.

Your list manager sort of ****ed up by picking an interstate kid, common knowledge that players from interstate always have a risk of home sickness.

Bris wouldn’t have - they had Mcgluggage a clear 1 and told dodo he made a mistake.

Lot to play out with JHF.

Taranto and mcluggage we’re the best two picked up and have both done a lot more then mcgrath has, ok so who should we have picked over jfh last year then? Name one player who was even on his level in u18s

None, that's why he was a clear cut number one.

What have Tim and Hugh achieved that makes them better? Between the three of them there is only one best and fairest, zero all Australians and one rising star winner.

So between the three, Tim Taranto has the only best and fairest, there are no premierships, no brownlows, no All Australian selections.

Just wondering what the others have done to have done more than Andy McGrath.

Daniel Venables who is no longer on an AFL list has a premiership, going by your argument about doing nothing, you could argue he has done more than all of them combined. A premiership is the reason why people play the game.

McGrath had one good year at 19 and hasn’t become more then a solid player since while mcluggage is one of the top 5 wingers in the game and should have at least one all Australian but we all know the panel fill the wings with inside mids and Taranto has won a best and fairest at 21 and become one of the giants best midfielders, it’s pretty clear who’s number 3 in that order and your mob picked him at 1

Again, I dont follow Essendon.

Your argument is weak, out of the three none has been more successful than the other. Premierships are indicators of success.

Well we know Essendon can't win a final so you may as well pencil in the other 2 to be better.

No Aaron Hall, get a good effort from 22 guys. Coincidence?

People always talk about them having like the worst list in competition that might be true but I still see a lot of talent to work with...
They should be more competitive than what they have been showing during this year.

Agreed. Definitely don't need a priority pick.

They must have heard because they then adjusted and tanked the last quarter to lose. You can imgine the heirachy at 3/4 time. 'Nobes, what the hell are you doing, we are trying to engineer a gift from the AFL...tell the boys to cut it out and stop playing well'
Wouldn't surprise me. Cheaters never prosper 😉

Have to admit that thought crossed my mind, but I simply don't believe is the case. They ran out of legs and simply forgotten how to win.

Saw it with Carlton in 2018.
