As we all love to have a dig at North (i believe thats what they're calling themselves these days) I thought i'd rip this off the NMBigFooty board and set up a prediction thread for the Kangas in '08

Best & Fairest: Jessie Smith (who then moves to Richmond in PSD #1 when North die)
Most Goals: Drew Petrie (23)
All Australian: They wont be hearing these words.
North Story of the Year: Why didn't we take the bait? / Fans rally aimlessly as North are given the boot.

So how does that team come in and finish higher than us? YOu do realise what game this is right?

Also...I don't see anything bad about the AFL's 2nd best tagger winning our Best and Fairest. Might want to look at a couple of yours best and fairests and see where good old Trav is (and the price you valued him at).

Johnstone was a great B and F winner. He had a sublime year in 2005

Actually you're correct. We couldn't afford him- Melbourne wanted a minumum of Pick 14 for Travis, but given we finished 3rd in the season, and got PIck 15, we unfortunately we were too good during the season. Maybe if we had been like the Eagles last year and got Pick 13, we could have afforded him.

We were actually able to afford him, in terms of payments required.

Do over confident North fans like Zebra, Lidge and Mark73 realise that North won 4 out of 13 games against rival top 8 sides. That is absolutley disgraceful. Hell Melbourne even won 2 games against top 8 sides last year (Adelaide and Collingwood).

They'll win a few games against the bottom sides and thats about it.
