After a winning start last week I am back to kick-start the discussions ahead of our home fixture against Collingwood. I asked Wynston Abraham on here to post this thread but I guess he hasn't seen it yet.

I'm back in the country and looking forward to docking my ship at Docklands and making the short walk to Telstra Dome to see us make it to in a row. In summary we'll be too slick and our forwards will dominate the airways. Also look for Paul Curtis to take out his anger ala The Verb's song Sonnet. In short it will be us singing Hey Jude when the siren sounds and those racist Pie fans make their way back to the unfortunate northern suburbs of Melbourne.

Paul Curtis returns to the line-up, having served his three-match suspension for rough conduct.

The No.25 will look to pick up where he left off, having kicked three goals against Port Adelaide in his latest outing.

Despite the considerable outrage amongst North Melbourne supporters when the president tipped a win, some amongst us remain faithful to the cause and actually want to see the boys take the four points tonight so let's do it North. Let's win and right the incredible wrong that was done to us last year when everyone other than Laura Kane saw the most obvious 50m penalty go begging on top of a touched ball being counted as a Collingwood goal because... Well, the AFL reviews every score don't they? Except they bloody well don't!

That a and b cycle is the main factor behind North fans continuing to turn up to games through this era. Just replace b with: 'we're playing someone above us on the ladder.'

Let us have our moment. It's a refuelling of sorts so that we have enough in the tank to go next time

As the week as gone past, I have become more bullish about this game. I think we can beat them around the contest it's whether we can stop turning it over so much and if we can tidy that up a little more this week then we can win. North by 14 points.
