Great signs today, I don't think the result is important. We were competitive up until the end against an Essendon side with something to prove, no point going full tilt in a pre season game IMO. JK and NN playing at a high level are 2 of the key factors into our season I think and they both looked great, particularly JK. He moved better than he has in a long time, kicked 6, set up a couple more and his contested marking was back. Williams should also definitely play ahead of Vardy or Hickey, gives us much more flexibility and offers so much more around the ground than the other 2. TK worked his way into the game very nicely in the 2nd half and seemed to make things happen every time he got near it, gonna be very handy through the middle and drifting forward, was unlucky not to have 2 or 3 goals. Very exciting times.
