As Chewy316 has said multiple times nas will only lodge a trade request if the two clubs and Ben Williams map out what a trade could look like, with us and the saints agreeing on the basis of it.

Davies seemed very confident it can get done. I guess it is whether he is portraying that to get Nas to nominate or is really that confident.

At the end of the day it is probably going to require Nas or more probably his manager putting the hard word on St Kilda to get them to accept what is offered.

Yeah the "in case he has to go back" bit is the worry.

SOS will play that angle and try and convince him that there is no possible deal they can accept so he HAS to stay. That is the best scenario for the Saints anyway.
