Its 3pm and i still dont know what im doing. Looks like city cos i know someone with a hotel toom where we can drink but i dont know wheres good on NYE.

All i know is ill be drinking this:

So where is everyone else going tonight?

Going to have dinner at a very nice Greek Resturant on Jetty Rd Brighton with my girl. Set menu $60 p/h. Watch the fireworks at 9.30pm while drinking beer and finishing off desert. :thumbsu:

Maybe go for a bike ride down the esplande after. Then will see what happens. That just might be enough for me. May consider Jazz bar in Gouger Steet or the Shores festival the next day but unlikely.
 
Staying home......:thumbsu:

Fridge and esky are full.....we could have anywhere between zero and 30 "drop-ins" - so we will see how we go
 
Have just been invited to my sisters boyfriends house to sit around to pool to bring in the new year after dinner. Should be able to see the fireworks from his house too. :D

I'm heading off to my friend's house and she has a pool :D Apparently it will be 32 degrees at midnight, which is quiet pleasant these days.
 
I must admit I don't have the "new year" feel this year. Last year I was in Serbia, with about 50cm of snow, -15 degree temperatures and having a party with cousins from all over the world in one place. Best new year's ever.

This year it a a family gathering again. This time in 42 degree heat! :D

A house party, with a BBQ to start off with, the old farts in the room and us "youngsters" having a pool party. Should be good.
 
Bit pissy already doing hte midday to midnight thing probably not the best idea but what can ya do ;)

Going from here to a friends boyfriends pad with a pool and shit. Got a BWS present for Xmas with 12 imported beers which I will be poloshing off nicely tonight I'd imagine. BBQ around 8, I have my streamers ready but when the streamers are unravelled and the poppers are popped that certainly doesn't mean it's goodnight time for beddy byes, I'm gonna party like it's 2008!

Working nightshift at the local hospital looking after most of the people who have responded to this post :thumbsu:

If your getting so drunk you have to come to hospital at least bring a beer for me so I can have one after work.
 
Went to a park and had a leg, friends all got blotto (by about 6). Sun set and we still had no plans. Ended up crashing a cocktail party. All up pretty sh*t night, I think next year it will be either town or Victor for me.

BTW are the fireworks at the bay/city any good? I remember back in 2001 (i think) all they had was someone playing a bagpipe & a few crappy fireworks.
 
Rents were having a shindig at home so i had my mates come round.

Some ****head called in sick at work so i had ot work the extra 4 hours till 9:30.

Got home and the mates had pissed off to another party so i went and cracked some skulls. was a pretty good night all up.

Had some friends over, went out for a net session (play cricket) and played Texas Hold em' poker to all hours after that. Throw in a KFC family meal somwehere in there too. :thumbsu: Not to mention going to pick my brother up from some place down South at 3.30am because he didnt know which bus to catch :mad:
 
Had a pool full of close friends and relatives until about 3am

Good night was had by all..........but my fridge is empty.....:(
 
erm Drinks at a friends places.... to the beach ...more drinks.....to the bay ...stayed for fireworks....pissed off to my mates again for more drinks slept......passed out on the front lawn!

Good times!!!
 
I worked till midnight, but had great view of most fireworks around Adelaide from Level 8 of my office on North Tce, except Elder Park, which hadn't gone off untill I was walking up King Wm St to catch my bus
 
Went and slept in a hammock down south, had bbq cooked for me. Then sprayed little kids with water from across fence. Then driven down to the bay in extremely inebriated state, continue to knock off bottle after bottle of cheap wine in a cafe, until some ****head on the otherside of the barrier decides to knock me out with a rock to the forehead. Came to, and that was when the stomach overflowed.

Average night to be honest. Got home too early, big bruise/ cut on head, and slept til 3.

Went to Oceania nightclub. Absolutely insane, would have been about 2000ish in there. 20 quid for a ticket. IN Cardiff at the moment...working the accent like it has never been worked before. GREAT night.
 
A few mates and myself sat on the Gawler South football club oval and drank goon juice. Got home around 5am and was woken up around 10 am
 
Drank in a hotel room with my mates till about 10 30, went to Swish then club hopped for the rest of the night before catching a taxi home at about 6 30. Woke up at about 3 this afternoon. Ended up drinking a bottle of Beam black label before i left the hotel room and still managed to spend over $150 after that :confused: :confused:
