I'm perfectly happy with this. Although If I was going to the cricket on Sunday I would probably be a little disappointed.

Don't mind the rest at all. Johnson had the India series, then home early to play Shield, then 5 Tests on the trot. Missing a game against an England team that's obviously not working towards the World Cup will barely be noticed.

In saying that though, I hope to god they don't give NCN the nod ahead of Patto. Wouldn't be surprised if Marsh plays out the rest of the series after this match if they rest Warner and Watson for different games (or Finch gets dropped).

I'd be very surprised if White has had his papers stamped, especially after he scored the 2nd most runs for us in a calendar year in ODI's just a couple of years ago. I reckon he would have been right in the mix for this series after the summer he's had where he's probably batted the best he has in his whole career.

I'm really looking forward to seeing him play for Australia again now (as long as he's still in this sort of form), to see if his improvement in the domestic forms carries on to international cricket.

I like seeing different teams for the ODI's than the test matches. You get to see more up and comers in the ODIs and for me, that makes it more interesting. Though I have to say without Starc or Johnson that bowling attack lacks bite, not withstanding with McKay's excellent record. Want More Speed Merchants!

I wish they'd 'rest' Warner, bored with him in ODIs. I'd like to see them a newbie a go like Lynn or Maddinson.

Richo just needs another good season and he will be back again. Only 22, plenty of time on his side. Same with Cutting, time is on his side.

There are better cricketers out there not being utilised... not average hacks who are lucky to play for their state sides. The Aus selection reminds me a lot of the USA ice hockey selection. If you played for them at the U20 WJC or in the U17's, you get looked upon more favourably than someone who may be more talented and putting up the results, but never played in them because they bloomed late.

Been a pretty good finisher with bat and ball in the Big Bash this season.
