as always.Germany will win. Ronaldo do disappear because it is too tough for him.
The Germans had absolutely no idea against the Croats. I can't see how all of a sudden they'll manage to pull it off against Portugal then. This team looks uninspired and is not that good anyway. 3-0 Portugal.
And Romania deserves some respect. They didn't 'just' draw with the world cup finalists and finish above Holland in their qualification group.

2002 World Cup Finalists.... what was so much better about that side? The Germans had absolutely no idea against the Croats. I can't see how all of a sudden they'll manage to pull it off against Portugal then. This team looks uninspired and is not that good anyway. 3-0 Portugal.

That in bold = struggle. If you can't score while rolling poland, you struggle to score.. get it? Or shall I bring out the Oxford. In 2002 Germany were ordinary, but so were their opponents. They got to the final playing the US and South Korea - now they're playing arguably the best Portuguese XI in decades.
In 2006 they were a lot better. Let it be Klinsmann or the home advantage thing and all, but they were on fire and they're nowhere near that in this tournament. I know they're a team for the tournaments and all, but their performance against Croatia was so poor I seriously can't see them get it together.
Bradesmaen, they didn't really struggle against those two. They let Costa Rica come back into the game after some individual mistakes, but they were always well on top. And they were rolling Poland upside down for 90 minutes - only a miracle caused Poland not to concede earlier and many more goals.
As for Portugal in 2004, the only thing they didn't do was beat Greece, something France and Spain couldn't do either. And as for relying on penalties against England in 2006... Portugal had just come out of a war against Holland, ending the match with 9, injured players and missing 2 of its central midfielders against England. Portugal visibly never recovered from their 2nd round match, they'd run completely out of breath.
Portugal 3-0? Come on Kompany, let's be realistic here. Portugal have been good in this tournament but haven't been brilliant like Holland and Spain and as for Germany yes they're plodding along, but overall they're a better team than Portugal.
My boys will win it 2-1 as Ronaldo hides in the corner
I’d love to share your optimism mate but if we dont improve by 200% it’ll be more likely to end 1-2 for Portugal.
damn if we only had beaten croatia we wouldn’t have to play against Portugal already![]()

i can't believe the Netherlands beat Romania. Surely Romania were going to be less dangerous than Italy.
