Would you guys recommend buying tix off the BDO or off the Ticketmaster website? Which is better/more reliable?

Yeah arcade fire will prob be the closing act on the green / purple stage.

LCD to close the boiler

RATM to close the main stage

doubt thatd happen.

it better not, 3 of the main acts i wanna see playing at the same time would be death.

Im in the same boat

Rage, Arcade Fire and LCD would be my 3 standouts.

Rage will close the main stage
Bjork or Arcade Fire will most likely close on the essential stage
LCD would be the biggest electro act named on the first release, either them or Dizzy to close the boiler

So i reckon will have to pick one, and see the others at side shows! Rage would be it for me as didn't pick up tix to their gig!

All thats left now is that ballot thingo sign up and 1000 tickets a week will be distibuted to subcribers. For Sydney that is.

Bear in mind that Sydney only had a 2 ticket limit. So Melbourne (with the 4 ticket pp limit) could sell out even quicker!

traditionally sydney has always sold out quite fast, melbourne usually takes a couple of months... although with RATM headlining that could change... it could also go the other way, with capacity meant to be increased at the flemington racecourse site...

tickets also go on sale through the BDO website at midnight tonight for Gold Coast, remaining shows midnight tomorrow night...

When i walked past this morning there were at least 300 people lined up for tickets at rockinghorse, now, i've never seen that before, last week it took 2 weeks to sell out but it seems to be getting faster each year. If it sells out day 1 that will mean a lot of ebay tickets and since the market is so flooded with them you can usually get one cheaper than cost if you are patient.

Plenty of opportunities to get tickets, more drops as well as the 2nd hand market which will be saturated and force the prices down, no need to panic if you didn't get one.

I bought tickets at 12:30 am, and woke up for work at 6:00 am. It really sorts out the true fans from the bandwagoners doesn't it. 48k tickets sold from midnight to 10am is just unbelievable.

Same... and I'm not 100% whether I want to go or not and it's a day before Iron Maiden. Would be a big couple of days.

I'll have to hit side shows which I'll probably like better anyway.
