Your team and mine sound like they are having the same problems at the moment TBD. I had wanted to upgrade my forward line a bit more this week but with Kennelly going down I scrap that idea. I decided to carry him through the injury but had to upgrade my bench. Down to 12 trades now myself.

I also had Selwood on my bench last week. I had been burnt the week before when Lappin didn't come up and Selwood was dropped. With Nige in doubt again last week and Selwood named on an extended bench I didn't think I could take the risk.:(

Yeah, I've still got 16 after 2 trades this week (Marc Murphy is gone - going to get the best tagger every week now without Stevens - upgraded to West who doesn't care if he gets the best tagger). Wouldn't want to get to the finals with bugger all trades left and then cop some injuries. I am taking a Lions-esque approach to the season - undefeated from July! :p

Josh Fraser is at the last chance saloon this week for me. Too expensive to be averaging 50 points a game when I've got Ben Hudson on the bench. Still, I've put a few players on notice who have picked up their acts - Raines, Hodge. Pressure's on Josh!

But the good news is that Warwick is now outright last:D Time to start playing the kids and focussing on 2008;) What are your thoughts on Kreuzer?

That is a joke. I have far and away the best team in the comp, with the best coach but nothing is going right.

This week scored the 7th highest score and lost by a point, with 3 90+ scorers on the bench.

Some shocking umpiring decisions by Baldy. Curse you dome head!! :mad:

One can't help but barrack for the underdog, and Hammo's Hacks have become my 2nd favourite team. I'm sure we (except loyallion this week) would all like to see you break that duck. Keep hanging in there Warwick, and good luck.:thumbsu:

Meh he will probably win this week anyway and well I think the Roar will be the WoodenSpooners for this year simply because I have to move and won't be able to access the internet and Edit them.

No doubt they are the people's team with their free-flowing and attacking style. Easily the best list in the comp, it's just a shame that injuries and bad luck have hurt their chances so far this year.

They will be going into this week's game minus Cox, Chapman, Murphy, and possibly Hudson- 4 key players, and consistent scorers. It's such a shame this great team has been crucified by injuries. However, you won't be seeing the coach making excuses, he just grits the teeth and get's on with the job. A plus has been the emergence of the talent on the bench. 90 and 100+ scorers each week are forced to sit out - they would get a game at any other club. Now is the time for them to shine.

Of course another problem has been the tall poppy syndrome, and the fact the, shall we say "lesser" teams, and no talent clubs have used their trades early to make a statement against the premier team in the comp. Sure you look great defeating the Hacks, but the wastefullness will hurt you all come finals. It could be a case of "Steven Bradbury" all over again - although in this situation, the favourite will overtake the chumps.

This comp lost respect since the day Team Toddy went to number 1.

Yeah, well don't get too far ahead of yourself. Lets just hope you can improve your record to 1 and 3 by the end of this week.
