I agree. Wheater had his worst game of the year.

Hardly surprising when he travelled with the English squad, sat in the stands, watching the game, then travelled back to England, had to train with Boro, had very little time to rest and then had to play the lunch time kick off on the Saturday.

Why would you need to rest after sitting in the stands, then sitting in a bus/plane.
In my mind, he had enough rest this week.

Looking good for Chelsea, but I'm not getting too carried away yet. Manyoo is still a bigger problem than Liverpool. In fact, I'm not worried about them at all... they will once again fail to finish top two. Having said that, they'll go close to getting a result against us this weekend with a few an injury-riddled side.

To beat Boro the way we did with only 4/11 starting XI players was a fine effort. And that also include's Mikel who could be debated whether he is even in the strongest XI. I suppose it depends if you want to fit all of Lampard, Ballack, Deco and Cole in the one side, or have one of them coming off the bench.
