It's been confirmed that he's been Dolan's no.1 adviser. They even applied to re-instate him in a formal capacity, but the league blocked it because Isiah's coaching college.

that was ages ago. I know they are great mates and he talks to him constantly and im sure he gave Dolan some advice but this deal was mainly Donnie Walsh and a bit of James Dolan as Donnie stated the other day. They need to sign up Donnie again. Isiah is claiming some of it though

I get the feeling that if the Spurs drop a couple of these close ones they could go on a bad run at the moment. Not all the convincing really - but still playing good basketball.

If the Clips beat us again i'll be dirty. Need to string a few wins together, we are starting to struggle a little.

good to see melo is already shooting alot. give the ball to amare. When Fully fit amare is the best power forward in the game.

I love the Mavs - such a good team.

There bench is so awesome - seriously they are underrated. I rate them ahead of the Spurs.

Yep, the Spurs just lucked into their 47-10 record. Not to mention their point differential is about 4 points better than the Mavs.

The Mavs' problem is that their second-best player is just not good enough, and hasn't been good enough for a long while. You can't win when your second-best guy isn't a walk-up starter on a lot of teams.

Mavs have won 15 of there last 17 (I think - could be 14 of 16) and I feel that they are so even after Dirk that they do present themselves as a threat.

Kidd isn't scoring, but he doesn't have to - I think thats the strength.

Peja is shooting now. Beaubois is seriously talented. Marion playing some of his best basketball for ages. The Jet is great everyone knows that, will come off the bench and will score. Chandler defensivley and offensivley has made them a better team. Haywood finally starting to do something this season, played 5 or 6 decent games in a row - which is what they need him to do.

I dunno if they are championship material but I don't think they are far off.

Smoove pimping in the 2nd half. Go Hawks!

The best part of him making 3's, is that he keeps shooting 3's!

Clutch Channing!

I would sell Boozers left nut for Wes matthews.

Never ceases to amaze me how quickly people overrate guys who drain a couple of outside shots on a team that is struggling for offense (Portland is 24th in the league for PTS/G), but actually do little else.

Hey man we need a SG and Matthews would be in the top 15 SG in the NBA and he is still young.

15 points a night is all we need from a SG.

I would love a top 10 SG but no chance.

BTW, he is playing very well against Kobe tonight. 20 Points so far.
